Home at Palm Farm - Kabwe, Zambia

We are still here in Zambia. We are reconnecting with friends, sharing brief hellos and goodbyes. Rick is making sure that our vehicle is road ready, both mechanically and with the proper paperwork, insurance and certifications.

We are busy sorting and sifting, unpacking and repacking what has been stored here. We have limited space in the vehicle and have to decide what is truly needed now and what can wait until a later trip. Rick believes it will be three car loads, so we will journey the road several times before all of our belongings are with us in Malawi. That, at least, affords us more opportunities to visit with Zambian friends.

We hope to be driving to Chipata (near the Malawi border) on Wednesday, then complete the journey home on Thursday, where life in Malawi will begin.
