Burning in memories

As we face the reality of leaving Africa, (for years? forever?) we are letting her beauty burn into our memories.

Where would we ever see such a tree in Canada, that unfolds crowns of flowers high in its branches?

We are also soaking up the sun and Zambian heat, spending mornings on the veranda.

These are hours and days to cherish, and we are choosing to not waste them.
